General pricing information
The price of a custom plush depends on the size, but mostly on the complexity of the character. A simple character is close to the starting price, a detailed character can go up in price very quickly.
Below are my general price ranges:
Small (30-60 cm, 16-24 inches): 200€-700€+
Medium (60-100 cm, 24-39 inches): 400€-1200€+
Big (100 cm, 39 inches and more): 600€ - 2500€+
Special sizes are also possible.
The price of a plush depends on a few factors:
- complexity
A plush with many details, such as many different colors, body drawings, complex shapes, a special pose or an outfit is more expensive than a simple design. The more detailed, the higher the price.
To give you an idea, click the links below to see some examples:
Simple: Rabbit, Tikki and Plagg, Fluttershy(simple colors, simple shapes)
Medium: Splatoon, Pinkie Pie, Cloudchaser, Pokusan (more colors, simple markings, moderately complex shapes)
Complicated: Rainbow Dash, Pokusan, Queen Chrysalis (Complex shapes, multi-colored hair, more markings, accessories)
Very complicated: Princess Luna, Handbag for Smartphone, Apple Bloom, (complex shapes, complex markings, many details and / or colors, complete outfits)
- Have I done it before?
If I have to make an individual sample for your order, it will be more expensive than if I already have a sample ready. It will take a long time to design and test the new pattern. Especially if it is an OC or a one-off plush, you are also paying to develop the pattern.
- Size
Size is only a small factor in price; it mainly concerns the cost of materials. Even if the plush is small, it often still requires the same details and the same amount of work. Very large plush toys (60cm +) become more expensive because they require more materials, different techniques, and much more time.

Process and processing time
A plush can last anywhere from a few days to a few months. Most plush toys have a processing time of around 4-8 weeks. Processing time depends on the complexity of the plush and what arrangements have been made beforehand. If you have a specific deadline, please let me know and I will tell you if it is possible.
Please note that I am only one person. Unforeseen events can occur and lead to delays. Should this ever happen I will always keep you informed.
I will post pictures to my social media accounts as I make them while I work on your plush. If you don't want this, please let me know before paying.
Finished work will be photographed and added to my online gallery.
Characters and references

If you hire me, please provide a clear description and, if available, clear reference pictures of the character you want.
If several reference images are made available to me, it is up to the client which elements of which images should be used.
I will always do my best to match fabrics as closely as possible to your character. Please understand that minky fabrics are not available in every color and that the colors on the monitors can look different.

Changes
I am not accepting (free) changes to the project once I start working on it. If details are unclear to me, I will ask you before making the plush. Please list your needs in as much detail as possible to help you get the plush you have in mind.
The finished product
Once the work is done, you will receive the plush toy.
All samples, drawings / designs, previous versions / prototypes, embroidery files and other materials (such as additional fabrics) or (electronic) files remain the property of PascalBasteln.
The pattern of your plush may only be used by PascalBasteln.

security
You can definitely cuddle and play with the plushies that I make. They are not suitable for rough play, however, so be careful when giving them to a child. Since my plushies are custom-made, they have no safety labels or certifications.
I am not responsible for any damage of any kind to the plush after it has been received by the customer.

cleaning
Handmade plush should not be washed in the washing machine and only cleaned selectively.
​
material
The main fabric I use is minky; a cuddly fabric. This fabric is super soft and available in many colors.
If you prefer another type of fabric, please let me know. Accessories and clothing can be made from minky, but also from other fabrics.
